FASTSIGNS on Central
"After visiting the Mutoh facility and seeing demos of the Mutoh printer
and
plotter I was sold," Scott Koehler, owner of FASTSIGNS on Central,
commented on his recent Mutoh purchase.
After carefully evaluating both Mutoh and Mimaki equipment, Koehler
selected the Mutoh Falcon II Outdoor and the Ultima 1400 plotter to
fulfill his production needs. "I felt the Mutoh equipment was more user
friendly and would produce at a higher rate," Koehler stated. "Also a
huge benefit, the Falcon II Outdoor does not require any special
ventilation." Among the other features Koehler found appealing, was the
versatility of the cutter and how well the Mutoh printer and plotter
work together.
Koehler has seen an increase in both productivity and profit since he
began using the Mutoh products in March of 2004. "Our Mutoh equipment
has allowed us to enhance sales by offering a better product with a
shorter turnaround time at a comparable or lower price," Koehler said.
Koehler uses his Falcon II Outdoor and his Ultima 1400 plotter to create
digital banners, vinyl prints, trade show displays, posters, and vehicle
wraps. The Mutoh equipment also allows him to create signs on specialty
materials such as, Lexan and backlit materials.
"I have been very happy with the Falcon II Outdoor," Koehler states.
"Within a week of receiving our Mutoh equipment we had already run a
couple of rolls of banner material and were taking orders for other
products. Everyone said that there would be a long learning curve, but
we were producing right away." Adding to Koehler's satisfaction, he said
that he has not needed very much technical support, but when he has,
Mutoh has been there to provide excellent service and support.
FASTSIGNS on Central has been providing effective sign and graphic
solutions to businesses throughout the valley since 1991. Koehler stays
busy creating top of the line products for sports teams and many large
corporations throughout the downtown Phoenix area.
