Mutoh America Announces the Birth of "Junior"

TEMPE, Ariz., April 6, 2004 - Mutoh America Inc., a worldwide leader and manufacturer of large format commercial inkjet printers, today gave birth to the latest addition of its Falcon line of outdoor ink jet printers with the introduction of the Falcon Outdoor Junior. "Junior" has a 36" print width for producing bright, vivid, outdoor durable images on a wide variety of inexpensive, uncoated media. Best of all, "Junior" is affordable, at $10,995.

The "Junior" prints with Mutoh's award winning Eco-Solvent Plus^TM inks to produce high-quality, outdoor durable prints that will last up to three years without lamination. "Junior" is easy to use, runs on standard 110 volts and does not require ventilation. With its high quality piezo print heads, "Junior" can easily produce 24 - 3 foot x 4 foot images in an 8 hour day at 720 dots per inch (dpi).

To produce decals and images requiring contour cutting, Mutoh America offers the "Junior" bundled with the Mutoh Ultima vinyl cutters. The Ultima utilizes a laser guided cutting system to accurately register and contour cut with "Ultima"te precision and speed. With "Junior" and Ultima you can print and cut simultaneously and Ultima's 39 ips cutting speed is not compromised like combination printer / cutters. The "Junior" and Ultima 850 are bundle priced at $13,995.

Every Falcon Outdoor includes Mutoh's ISIS Print Manager and Mutoh edition RIP Center software, as well as 1-year on-site warranty service. The Falcon Outdoor Junior printer, priced at $10,995, will begin shipments in June 2004 and will be seen for the first time at the ISA show in Orlando, Florida, April 15-17, 2004.
