AVERY DENNISON AND MUTOH AMERICA PARTNER TO OFFER FREE STARTER ROLLS TO FALCON II OUTDOOR PRINTER BUYERS

PAINESVILLE, Ohio - Avery Dennison Graphics Division North America and Mutoh America Inc. have launched a unique limited-time "out of the box" experience for purchasers of the Mutoh Falcon II Outdoor printer. All Falcon II printer purchases made by March 31, 2004 will include free starter rolls of Avery Dennison's MPI 2010 and MPI Heavy Duty Banner, allowing customers to test the new printers with warranted, compatible media. After printing on the free sample rolls with Mutoh's Eco-Solvent Plus^TM ink, customers are eligible for a free complete roll of any Avery Dennison media.

Avery Dennison and Mutoh will jointly support a performance guarantee for graphics manufactured using products from Avery Dennison's MPI product line on the Mutoh Falcon II Outdoor printer with Mutoh Eco-Solvent Plus^TM inks. This extension of the popular Avery Dennison Integrated Component System (ICS) warranty guarantees that both ink and media will perform as represented in their technical bulletins, or both ink and media will be replaced by the respective manufacturers.

The ICS Performance Guarantee between Avery Dennison and Mutoh America covers durable graphics for up to five years outdoors, depending upon the specific components utilized. It includes, but is not limited to, applications such as vehicle wraps, fleet markings, bus wraps and posters, perforated window films, promotional graphics, banners and billboards.
