Falcon Outdoor Junior is
Moving Quickly

With the announcement of the Falcon Outdoor Junior in April 2004, the inquiries for this “ECO-nomical,” versatile printer have been overwhelming! The Junior began shipping in June and sales of the Junior are soaring.

“Junior” has a 36” print width for producing bright, vivid, outdoor durable images on a wide variety of inexpensive, uncoated media. Best of all, “Junior” is affordable, at $10,995.

The “Junior” prints with Mutoh’s award winning Eco-Solvent Plus™ inks to produce high-quality, outdoor durable prints that will last up to three years without lamination. “Junior” is easy to use, runs on standard 110 volts and does not require ventilation. With its high quality piezo print heads, “Junior” can easily produce 24 - 3 foot x 4 foot images in an 8 hour day at 720 dots per inch (dpi).

Mutoh Products Now Shipping with Scanvec Amiable Software

Mutoh America is pleased to announce Scanvec Amiable software is now shipping with their Falcon Outdoor line of printers, as well as their Ultima cutters.

The Falcon Outdoor line of printers when bundled with an Ultima vinyl cutter is now shipping with the Mutoh Edition of Scanvec Amiable’s PhotoPRINT DX Software. The bundle, along with the Scanvec software, creates a single print & cut solution. PhotoPRINT DX is made to combine bitmap editing and design with the RIP to PRINT Process. Many other features have been added to entice the user, including vinyl cutting and contour cutting of printed images. This combined solution will give users a complete package with one individual source, while offering the latest technology for one of the fastest growing sign market segments.

The Falcon Outdoor Junior, 48- and 62-inch printers purchased as stand-alone units, will now ship with the Mutoh Edition of PhotoPrint SE software. The PhotoPRINT SE software is an entry-level RIP solution for the single-workstation environment.

Mutoh’s Ultima vinyl cutters when purchased separately now ship with the Mutoh “Ultima-te” Cut Plug-In. This product has similar features to Scanvec Amiable’s Quick Cut product, but also features vinyl cutting. “Ultima-te” allows cutting from Corel, Illustrator and AutoCad.
