Customer Spotlight
Sign Sensations
It didn’t take long for Chris Chitty, owner of Sign Sensations in Paso Robles, California, to become a loyal fan of Mutoh printers. In fact, the 62-inch Falcon Outdoor that Chris purchased only five months ago is his first large format printer. Nevertheless, Chris says, "Mutoh is the only large format printer that I’ll ever buy." What turns a relatively new owner into such a dedicated customer? Chris says it’s a combination of Mutoh’s quality and service.

Mutoh Achieves Great Success at NBM Long Beach, CA Show
The 2005 NBM Trade Show in Long Beach, CA, July 28-30, was a tremendous success! The show was a chance to get personal with Mutoh's people and products. Additionally, with all the big International Shows east of the Mississippi this year, Long Beach provided a great setting for customers that wanted to see the latest and greatest from Mutoh without traveling cross country. Mutoh's 20x20 booth was bustling with activity. Everyone had the opportunity to view the products and have any and all questions answered. Mutoh featured the new Toucan LT, the 48" Falcon Outdoor, and the ever popular Falcon Outdoor Junior with Ultima 850 Cutter. The response to the Mutoh products was overwhelming and we look forward to seeing you all in Long Beach in 2006! |

The Falcon Outdoor Junior Why Wouldn’t You Buy 36"?
The Falcon Outdoor Junior is the only solvent printer on the market that provides a 36-inch, full bleed print. Why WOULDN’T you buy 36 inches?
The Junior produces bright, vivid, outdoor durable images on a wide variety of inexpensive, uncoated media. Best of all, with the 36-inch print width the Junior can easily accommodate the most requested banner size of 36" x 48". With its high quality piezo print heads, the Junior can easily produce twenty four 36"x 48" images in an 8-hour day at 720 dots per inch (dpi).
The Junior prints with Mutoh’s award-winning Eco-Solvent Plus inks to produce high-quality, outdoor durable prints that will last up to three years without lamination. Junior is easy to use, runs on standard 110 volts and does not require ventilation. With the economical price of $11,995 and the only printer in this price range with 36 inches of print width, the Junior ensures over the top performance with a budget breaking price. |

Tip of the Month:
Periodic Maintenance for Toucan LT
Please follow these tips to ensure trouble-free printing from your Toucan LT:
Perform daily and periodic cleaning of the print head area and capping station using "lint free" cleaning products and the LT Head Conditioner fluid. Begin using the feature called Auto-cleaning.
To perform the following cleaning routine find the Maintenance Check menu in the User menu. Select YES and the printer will unlock the head carriage and move the carriage out into the open about two feet away from the maintenance area. If a cover is present that prohibits access to the maintenance area, remove the 4"x15" metal cover (4 Phillips screws) to complete the cleaning processes.
