Introduces the XJet
At ISA 2005,
Mutoh will unveil the all-new Mutoh XJet, TM pending. The
XJet is a 54” (1.3m) solvent inkjet printer powered
by six Spectra print heads that develop print resolutions
of up to 800 dpi and print speeds of 350 square feet per
hour. The XJet uses Mutoh dazzling solvent inks to produce
images that are outdoor durable for up to 3 years without
lamination. An integrated heavy-duty media feed and take-up
system accommodates up to 55” wide media weighing
over 200 lbs for reliable unattended printing. The XJet
also features variable pressure rollers for soft to hard
media, a 40GB hard disk drive, and PCI interface. The XJet
will come complete with a starter set of inks, installation
and on-site warranty. The XJet is priced below $50,000.

America Names Alisa Woodruff MarCom Coordinator
 Mutoh
America Inc., Phoenix, AZ., is pleased to announce the appointment
of Alisa Woodruff to the position of MarCom Coordinator.
Based in Phoenix, Woodruff is responsible for all marketing
communications, tradeshows and event planning in support
of Mutoh’s digital inkjet printing solutions. Woodruff
previously worked with Glaxo Smith Kline, Cadillac and Cisco
Systems. Alisa holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Management
from Arizona State University.

Introduces the Toucan LT
At
ISA 2005, Mutoh will introduce the all-new Toucan LT. The
Toucan LT combines the best of Mutoh know how and technology
from the Toucan and Falcon II Outdoor printers to create
the single best mid-range printer solution on the market
today. There are two Toucan LT models accommodating media
widths of 64” or 87”. The LT has six print heads
delivering resolutions up to 1440 dpi at typical productions
speeds of 200 sq. ft. per hour. The LT comes in ECO or solvent
ink versions and does not require an optional heater for
drying. The Toucan LT is the only printer in its class to
include a heavy-duty media feed and take-up system to handle
media weighing up to 225 lbs for effortless unattended printing.
Prices for the LT start at $33,995 and include a Mutoh version
of Onyx RIP software, installation and a one-year on-site
warranty. The Toucan LT is available for immediate delivery.
