Is there a way to print media with a 2" core on our valuejet 1604 i.e. adapter?

Yes, the outer adapter of the media holder can be removed to run 2" core media, this adapter just snaps into place.  It is normally a darker grey than the 2" core, if you examine it closely you can see how to push the tabs out and remove the adapter.

document USB....I am running a Vista computer with Flexisign 8.5 and a Valuejet 1604. When I Rip and Print anything over 12 inches long the software doesn't send the whole job and the printer stops printing. My dealer told me that I either had to get an XP computer or install USB drivers and run my machine on the USB port instead of the Ethernet port. document When printing 30" material on my VJ1204 (48" printer) the printhead still moves the entire 48" width of the printer (not prints but just moves beyond the media width) I noticed it only does it on some profiles & not others.
