You want to have a clean area, to minimize dust and particles that can interfere with printing or cause other issues.

You want to be able to control the room temperature and humidity in the following ranges:

Operating Humidity Range

40%-60%

Operating Temperature

68° F - 89.6° F

Optimally, you want to store your media in the same kind of environment for at least 3 days prior to printing, so that it can adjust.
