While some customers report being able to print through the USB port, it is not currently actively supported and the protocol may change in the future.  Mutoh has not released any Window drivers for the ValueJets and unexpected results may occur.

The printer should be connected using a network connector (Cat 5)

document USB....I am running a Vista computer with Flexisign 8.5 and a Valuejet 1604. When I Rip and Print anything over 12 inches long the software doesn't send the whole job and the printer stops printing. My dealer told me that I either had to get an XP computer or install USB drivers and run my machine on the USB port instead of the Ethernet port. I read on your site not to use the USB ports, so what do I need to do.
