Print Feed adjustment is critical when doing contour cutting jobs over 6 feet long. This can sometimes cause a problem since the feed adjustment may need to shortened or extended in order to properly print on different media.
If you find that cut accuracy changes after a few feet of cutting – likely due to the print feed offset – you can turn on an option in SAI’s Photo Print DX and Flexi software to improve cut accuracy on long cut jobs by selecting the Mutoh Multiple Segments registration marks instead of the Mutoh box. This option is located in the contour options box in Rip
and Print. The Mutoh Multiple Segments registration prints a
broken line every 50 centimeters that the cutter recalibrates on. This setting will help compensate for improper print length adjustment on long cut jobs.
In order to use the Multi-Segment function, you will need the Cut Server program.
It is installable from the DX program disc or can be downloaded here:

This is a stand alone program that can be run from the desk top or folder that you have downloaded to.
You may want to create a shortcut to load and run this program.
You will also need to create a folder to hold the Multi-Segment Cut files and run the Cut Server program.
Place this folder in a easily accessible place, like the desktop.
Once the job is created (print file and cut file).
You will need to go to Flexi Production Manager and highlight the cut file, right click, save as, and save to the folder that you have created.
Open of the Cut Server program:
Under 'File', select 'Set Directory' and choose the folder that you have created.
Under 'File', select "Settings" and select the proper Com port for your cutter.
Print your file, load into the cutter, select the cut file and 'Send'
