The function is called "Flushing"

This is a firing of the nozzles on each pass of the carriage.

Go to  "Set Up" in the menu.

Here is a menu structure:

Change "Flushing" from "On Media" to "Origin"

The nozzles will then fire on the sponge pad located near the right side of the machine.

Be sure to check and change the sponge pad when needed.

document USB....I am running a Vista computer with Flexisign 8.5 and a Valuejet 1604. When I Rip and Print anything over 12 inches long the software doesn't send the whole job and the printer stops printing. My dealer told me that I either had to get an XP computer or install USB drivers and run my machine on the USB port instead of the Ethernet port. I read on your site not to use the USB ports, so what do I need to do.
