I have seen the speed variance chart you have on the different Wave modes, however there is no documentation on your site, or manuals, regarding the technical differences between your Wave modes. |

One of the measured speed charts is here: The actual technical specs of the wave modes are currently proprietary. Practically speaking the different 'waves' i.e. Wave 1, Wave 2, Wave 3 or Fuzzy, etc, all lay down the ink in different patterns and/or different orders of the same or simlar patterns. The sub-modes Fine and Superfine have to do more with carriage speed. So far, there are no hard and fast rules for choosing a Wave and mode. Most applications benefit from Wave 1 or Fine and Wave 1. Difficult media may be helped by Wave 2, 3, or 4 and fine. If you want to see the differences in the wave, print a dark print and stop the printer before completion We should have additional information in the coming months. |
