The new ValueJet printers incorporates a new printing technique called Intelligent Interweaving or "I²". This function is a series of wave patterns to virtually eliminate vertical and horizontal banding. Traditional inkjet printers lay ink down in a straight line, making it easy for your eyes to see the stripes in the print. The wave pattern of I² makes it harder to see that defined line.
There are a variety of 'Waves' available and you may want to try different waves for different graphic designs, i.e. images vs solid colors.
Wave 1 should be suitable for most applications using a good media profile.
