With available print widths of 63" and 86", the Falcon II Outdoor incorporates Dynamic Variable Dot Imaging to produce the highest possible image quality in piezoelectric drop-on-demand technology. The size of the ink droplets, produced from each nozzle, is independently adjusted, on-the-fly, to produce finer detail and smoother gradients in highlight areas and crisp colors in the mid-tones and shadows.

With print speeds up to 375 sf/hr (35m2), the Falcon II Outdoor can produce a full color, 36" x 48" outdoor poster or banner in less than three minutes. The Falcon II Outdoor utilizes the NEW Next Generation Eco-Solvent Plus ink. The Eco-Solvent Plus ink is environmentally safe, allows for printing on a wide variety of uncoated, cost-effective materials and does not require ventilation. The standard Eco-Solvent inks are also available. The Falcon II Outdoor also has a CMYKx2 productivity mode that will double the printer’s throughput.

Falcon II Outdoor utilizes the latest developments from Mutoh in motion control and media handling and comes complete with a 21GB HDD, a four-stage heater/dryer system, an automatic take-up system, an optional media feed, installation and on-site warranty service.
