Perform test printing as shown in the following procedure, and confirm that the printer works correctly.

2	Confirm that the printer functions normally.

Press the [Menu] key on the operation panel.

•	The operation panel displays "Menu 1: Setup>".
•	Shift to the Setup menu display.

Press the [–] key on the operation panel.

•	The operation panel displays "Menu2: Test Print>".

Press the [>] key on the operation panel.

•	The operation panel displays "Test1: Nozzle Check".
•	The display enters the Test Print menu.

Press the [+] key or [–] key on the operation panel to select an item for printing form the following items and press the [Enter] key.

•	When "Banner 1" or "Banner 2" is set in the Print Mode menu, "PalettePrint" is not displayed on the Test Print menu. $graphics\nzilg007.gif$ 5.2 TestPrint Menu

Start Printing for the selected item.

3.5.1 Nozzle check

It is used for checking whether there is any clogging head, missing or blurred prints.

•	If the nozzle check result indicates that the checked points are blurred or missing, clean the head. $graphics\nzilg007.gif$ 6.2.3 Head cleaning Perform the nozzle check once again at the end of the work.

3.5.2 Mode print

Used to check the current setup of the printer.

•	User media and print mode lists are printed only when "ALL Set List" is selected.

3.5.4 Palette print

Used to compare pen colors used on the computer to the printing colors.
