6.3 Transfer and transportation
This section describes transfer and transportation of the printer.
6.3.1 Transferring the printer
This sub-section describes transferring the printer.

When using a dedicated stand, transfer the printer following the steps below.
| 1 | Make sure that the printer is turned OFF. |
| 2 | Check that the butterfly bolts (2) attaching the stand and the printer are not loosen. |
| 3 | Check that the printer head is in the rightmost position. |
| 4 | Attach the protective material (metal plate) for attaching the head unit, and attach it with thumbscrews.

| 5 | Remove the scroller. |
| 6 | Remove all the cables such as power cables. |
| 7 | Release the lock of the caster and transfer it.

After transfer, follow the steps below, and set the printer in an available condition.
| 1 | Confirm the suitable place for installation.
|
| 2 | After transferring the printer to the installation place, attach the printer. |
| 3 | Check the butterfly bolts (2) fixing the stand and the printer are not loosen when using a dedicated stand. |
| 4 | Attach cables such as power cables. |
| 5 | Perform the nozzle check, and confirm that there is no clogging in the printer head. |
| 6 | Perform the alignment. |
6.3.2 Transporting the printer
When transporting the printer, it is necessary to pack in the same condition as at the time of purchase using protective materials and packing materials to protect the printer from vibration and shocks.

| 1 | Turn ON the printer. |
| 2 | Confirm that the printer functions normally. |
| 3 | Remove all ink cartridges. |
| 4 | Turn OFF the power of the printer.

| 5 | When ink discharge completes, check that the Power lamp disappears. |
| 6 | Remove the scroller. |
| 7 | Remove all the cables such as power cables. |
| 8 | Attach the protective material (metal plate) for attaching the head unit, and attach it with thumbscrews.

| 9 | Remove the printer from the stand.
|
| 10 | Repack the printer. |
| 1 | Perform unpacking, assembling, and setting the printer.
|
| 2 | Set the printer in an available condition. |
