7.3 The media is jammed

When the set media is jammed, remove it according to the following procedure.

7.3.1 Roll media

•Be careful to see that fingers are not caught in between opening and closing the media cover.
1Open the front cover.

2Move the carriage section from the top of the media to the right.

3Switch the media loading lever to the back.

4Draw the media to your side, and cut the torn part with cutting tools such as a razor blade, etc.

5Lift both ends of the scroller, and manually rewind the roll media.

6Remove a torn piece of media if there is paper dust or slip of paper remaining inside the printer.
7If errors requiring restart occur, temporarily turn off the [Power] key, and then turn it on again.
