Follow the procedure below to perform Test printing to confirm that the printer works correctly.

2	Confirm that the printer functions normally.

Display the Test print menu on the operation panel.

Press the [Menu] key on the operation panel.

•	"Menu 1: Setup>" is displayed on the operation panel.
•	The operation panel shifts to the Setup menu display.

Press the [+] key or [–] key to select "Menu2: Test Print >".

Press the [>] key on the operation panel.

•	"Test1: Nozzle Check" is displayed on the operation panel.

Press the [+] key or [–] key on the operation panel to select an item for printing from the following items.

•	When "Banner 1" or "Banner 2" is set in the Print Mode menu, "PalettePrint" is not displayed on the test print menu. $graphics\nzilg007.gif$ 5.2 TestPrint Menu

Press the [Enter] key on the operation panel.

•	Start performing Test Print for the selected item.

•	Refer to the following for details on each of the print list items. $graphics\nzilg007.gif$ 3.5.1 Nozzle check to 3.5.4 Palette print

6	Repeat step 4 to step 5 when performing test print for other items.

Press the [Cancel] key on the operation panel to exit from test print.

•	The operation panel returns to Normal.
•	Test printing is completed.

3.5.1 Nozzle check

It is used to check whether there are any clogged heads, or missing or blurred prints.

•	If the nozzle check result indicates that the checked points are blurred or missing, clean the head. $graphics\nzilg007.gif$ 6.2.3 Head cleaning Perform the nozzle check once again at the end of the work.

3.5.2 Mode print

Used to confirm the following printing conditions.

•	Print Mode
•	Pre heater set temperature
•	Platen heater set temperature
•	Drier heater set temperature
•	Adjustment value

3.5.3 Setup print

Used to check the current setup of the printer.

•	Paste the setup print on this page.

•	User media and print mode lists are printed only when "ALL Set List" is selected.

3.5.4 Palette print

Used to compare pen colors used on the computer to the printing colors.
