Gregory

With almost 50 years of experience and growth, Gregory, a national
distributor of graphics and sign making materials and supplies, recently
announced an exciting new partnership with Mutoh America Inc. and Scanvec
Amiable. The strategic partnership was announced earlier this month at the
ISA 2005 trade show in Las Vegas, Nevada. The new partnership with Mutoh and
Scanvec will allow Gregory to expand its product offerings to include
digital printing equipment and software. “We began our search for a digital
printing manufacturer about a year and half ago,” states David Wierengo,
Gregory’s Chief Operating Officer. “Already equipped with a full service
graphics division and established as a supplier of sign making materials and
supplies, we felt that this was the only major part of the industry not
represented at Gregory.”
The decision to partner with a digital printing manufacturer is one that
Gregory took very seriously. “In the past, we have always made it a goal to
specialize in only the industry’s leading brand names and to align ourselves
with the industry’s top products,” Wierengo says. “We employed this same
attitude towards finding a digital printing manufacturer. Our customers look
to us as experienced professionals and they have come to expect only the
highest quality products from us. We only wanted to represent a manufacturer
that we felt confident in and that was well thought of in the industry.”
With these goals in mind, Gregory diligently researched and interviewed
virtually all of the major manufacturers in the industry. After serious
consideration, Gregory determined Mutoh was the perfect fit for the
partnership. According to Wierengo, “Mutoh offered the entire package; with
the value, quality, service, and reliability Mutoh offers, they were the
obvious choice.” Not only does Mutoh provide an outstanding product that is
well known and respected in the industry, it also provided Wierengo and the
team at Gregory with a strategic partnership they felt confident in. “We
feel very good about the values and ethics of Mutoh and its employees. They
are good people who want to do good things in the industry,” Wierengo
states. Mutoh’s similar business beliefs and popularity in the industry has
allowed Gregory the opportunity to expand their product offerings while
maintaining their first-rate reputation.
Founded in 1956, Gregory’s commitment to remaining at the forefront of new
technology and old-fashioned customer service has made them a well-known
name in the industry. Gregory is the only national distributor in the United
States to offer their customer’s wholesale graphics manufacturing, material
distributor services, and now equipment and software. Their reputation for
service and quality has allowed them to serve over 17,000 businesses.
