AVERY DENNISON AND MUTOH JOIN FORCES TO OFFER WARRANTY ON TOUCAN PRINTER

Avery Dennison Graphics Division North America and Mutoh America Inc. have teamed up to provide the Avery Dennison Integrated Component System (ICS) Fleet Warranty for graphics produced on the Toucan printer, a Mutoh industrial outdoor printer. This arrangement is a direct result of extensive durability testing of Toucan graphics printed on specific Avery Dennison MPI media.

The ICS Fleet Warranty, the gold standard among extended fleet warranties, represents a fantastic value for Toucan owners opening up additional opportunities in the burgeoning fleet graphics market. Since the introduction of the Toucan, Mutoh and Avery Dennison have coordinated activities to provide affordable, outdoor-durable PSV and banner solutions to our Toucan customers.

Avery Dennison’s MPI 1005 EZ cast film, featuring Easy Apply technology, is the primary product utilized for fleet graphics and is covered by the ICS Fleet Warranty for up to five years when used with the Mutoh Toucan Industrial Outdoor printer and Mutoh solvent inks. Avery Dennison’s Easy Apply enhances repositioning ability during installation, which allows for fast, trouble-free installation of even the largest graphics.

Graphics produced on the Toucan with Avery Dennison’s full line of MPI and DOL products are also appropriate for vehicle wraps, bus wraps and posters, perforated window films, promotional graphics, banners and billboards, and are covered under the Avery Dennison Integrated Component System (ICS) Performance Guarantee.

Should the warranted output fail to deliver the promised 5-year durability, Avery Dennison and Mutoh will replace the media and ink.
