The Mutoh Toucan Recommended
Materials list was compiled by testing performed at Mutoh America
using the Mutoh Toucan 64”and 87” printers and Mutoh
inks. Mutoh provides these recommendations to give our customers a selection
of materials that should produce good results when using the Toucan printer
and Mutoh ink. Please note that materials can vary from lot to lot, therefore
Mutoh recommends that our customers sample the material and verify that it
meets their specific requirements before purchasing quantities of the material.
Here are a few tips that will help you produce the best results;
Ink
The Mutoh inks are formulated
to provide the best purity, consistency and compatibility with the Toucan
All three of these factors have a significant
impact on your imaging quality. Purity
ensures no contaminates are allowed into the ink that can cause damage to
the ink delivery and print head systems, as well as sub-par imaging performance
It only takes one inferior batch of ink to
bring a production line to a halt. Mutoh inks are manufactured to the most
