"NO RESPONSE" From The Cutter
In this case when you send a file, the Cutter DOES NOT respond in any way,
i.e. it does not plot at all, and the Cutter does not display an error message
or beep. In most cases this means that the Cutter has not received any data
at all. (Keep in mind that if the Cutter receives any data, even data that
is incorrect, the Cutter will display an error). In that case, press
the 'back' arrow on your browser and look for the file "Cutter will not
plot, correctly".
Possible Causes:
The interface cable (between the computer and Cutter) is either defective or
incorrect. If you need to obtain a serial cable, make sure it is a null modem
type (where pins 2 and 3 are crossed). If you are using the Mutoh provided
serial cable with an A - B box, extension cable or adapters, this could cause
problems.
The Cutter is connected to the wrong port on your computer, e.g. your program
is sending data out COM1, and the Cutter is connected to COM2.
The port on the computer is configured wrong, or is defective.
The port on the Cutter itself is defective.
